Meet Our Pastor
PASTOR TERRY PITT is the Lead Pastor of Evangel. His heart is to see people come into a deeper relationship with Jesus through a church culture shaped by Belong, Grow, and Live.
Terry is passionate about creating a church where people feel truly at home—welcomed, valued, and part of the family of God. He believes the church should be a place where every person can find belonging in Christ and in community.
He is committed to developing leaders and disciples who are deeply rooted in the unchanging Word of God and fully dependent on the Holy Spirit. His desire is to see people grow in maturity, faith, and spiritual authority.
Terry carries a strong conviction for the manifest presence of God and the healing power of the Holy Spirit, believing it empowers believers to live out their faith with boldness, compassion, and purpose in everyday life.
Terry has been married to his wife Ellen for 41 years. Together they have two children, Mitchell and Melissa, both serving in full-time ministry.
In his free time, Terry enjoys long walks with Ellen, spending time with his six grandsons, the great outdoors, and anything with wheels.

What can I expect at a Sunday service?
Our service begins at 10:30 AM, with plenty of parking available.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, relaxed environment. Come as you are—you’re among family here.
Our services are vibrant, contemporary, and Spirit-led, creating space for you to encounter God and grow in your faith.

Children’s Ministries
Growing Kids in Following Jesus
At Evangel, we partner with parents to help kids follow Jesus through every stage of life.
Sunday Mornings
Children begin worship with their families in the auditorium. After worship, kids ages 6–11 are dismissed to the Lower Fellowship Hall for fun, age-appropriate Bible teaching and activities.
